This is a 10 minute ambiance of a bar i've recorded in l'ernest hemingway on the evening in the derlon place, reims, france, with my zoom h5 and my microphone shure pg-81.
Dubstep beat programmed with caustic 3 and mixed with ableton. 4 bars at 150 bpm big kick with snappy snare. Reverse snare and reverse spacey crash for extra effect. Busy hi hat pattern. Some gentle eq and mix compression and reverb and slight delay on hats and reverse effects. Ready to go.
Needed a really good bar drop for a film we where doing. This is a nice combo of a dead iron bar drop to a sawdust and straw wood floor with the addition of a metal bar dropped on wood. A little drop of a light bulb to finish the sound off. One drop not repeated. Created by paul villeneuve and dominic kaiser / stories by the river.
